dream home will cost?
At Evoke, we only manufacture steel-framed homes. Our homes are built on concrete pre-stressed slabs with steel frames, resulting in a more insulated, durable and cost-effective home.
The individual parts (or modules) of a prefab home are built in our factory in Northam, Western Australia. We then employ a professional transport company to deliver the modules to site. From there our team will install the modules, including site connections, and get everything ready for you to move into your dream home.
Of course! We offer our clients a range of designs that can be fully customised at no extra cost to you. Our standard designs merely act as a guide. While many people find a standard design they love, we are more than happy to customise a design to suit your individual needs and requirements.
As a company, our focus is on quality. Evoke homes are manufactured in a controlled indoor environment using high-quality materials that are durable and long-lasting. Our homes are manufactured using quality Australian-made TRUCORE steel frames, and completed to a high-specification internally and externally, resulting in a quality home that is well insulated and structurally sound. Modular homes reduce build times significantly, without compromising on quality
On average our modular homes take 20-25 weeks to build from the start of construction.
Prior to construction, we undertake an extensive planning process on our clients’ behalf. This includes; soil classification, site inspection and survey, site-specific structural engineering, HIA Home Building Contract, Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) report, building application and permit, and water corporation application and permit. We usually allow 15-20 weeks for this planning stage, however, this can vary according to a range of factors such as awaiting Council approval and changes made by the client to the plans and designs.”
Evoke Living Homes are unique modular homes that are made according to your individual needs, so we work with you to create a quote that considers your wants and needs. The cost will change depending on the size and design of your home, site locations and details and your choice of packaged or custom inclusions. The construction process is very different, which means it is often more efficient for you to build a prebuilt home, especially if you are living in a rural or regional location where labour shortages are a factor. Modular transportable homes can be built in as little as 15 weeks.
Other benefits include controlled quality and cost, given that there are a range of quality measures in place and that a fixed price is agreed upon signing the contract.
In addition, modern modular homes are also highly customisable. Any of our 1, 2, 3, and 4-bedroom modular home designs can be tailored to your taste in a single meeting.
Any of our 1, 2, 3, and 4-bedroom modular home designs and floor plans can be customised. Computer-based modular home design allows for adding or removing a spare bedroom, moving a living room, doubling the garage space and creating flexible multi-use spaces. As a leading modular home builder, we will help you choose the best floor plan for you, considering solar orientation, north-facing windows, passive solar design and your future plans.
Our suggestion is to speak with your bank, a broker or financing agent as early in the planning stages as you can. Alternatively, have a chat with one of the Evoke team. We can help you with varied progress claim schedules, where we will cover the costs of the building until the home is delivered to the site.
Yes. Since the individual parts (or modules) need to be transported, they do face certain size limitations. These limitations are largely based on Government restrictions and regulations for any highways your new home may be traveling on. Our factory has the potential to produce modules that are much larger than most roadway overpasses and corners in Western Australia can safely accommodate.
Please keep in mind that these size restrictions are only in relation to transporting individual modules. In its complete form, your modular or prefab home has no size limitations. In fact, it can be a 20-room mansion if you so desire! It will just need more individual modules transported from our factory.
No. When steel frames and trusses are encased in quality cladding, the building has very little exposure to the corrosive elements of the sea. At Evoke, our TURECORE Steel has a zinc/aluminium coating which defends the steel against corrosion. All our external claddings and fixings have been upgraded to ULTRA, creating a tough cover for internal steel elements.
When building homes close to the ocean, our external claddings and fixings are upgraded to ULTRA, creating a tough cover for internal steel elements.
